1 cup olive oil
1 lemon, juiced

What you require:


2 cloves garlic, peeled

1 onion, chopped
1 1/4 jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger root
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons minced cilantro leaves
1 teaspoon paprika
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Combine onion, lemon juice, olive oil,garlic , ginger, cilantro, sesame oil ,paprika, paprika,  salt, paprikaand pepper in a liquidizer and puree till smooth. Keep a little amount for clobbering. Pour the mixture in a big bowl and add shrimp. Surface shrimp with mixture, cover and refrigerate for at least two hours. Once ready, put away excess marinate and thread shrimp onto spits. Cook in a pre-heated grill over medium-high heat for two mins per side or till shrimp is cooked through and through. Brush with marinade whilst cooking.
